About me. Photographer Kirill Sergeev | Moscow

I was born and live in Moscow. I began my journey into photography with the first 35mm film camera “Smena” given by my father for my birthday. Then I switched to the more advanced medium format German “PRAKTISIX II” with Carl Zeiss optics from the GDR and the Soviet “Zenith” with the famous Helios-44M lens, which produces expressive bokeh. I periodically use these glasses on my modern cameras. I am currently working on Canon brand equipment with a wide range of original optics for various tasks.
My main job is related to the operation of industrial drones, where I came from civil aviation, and this specificity of work involves frequent business trips and changes of locations. I never part with my camera when I travel, trying to capture and convey, as far as possible, the beauty and individuality of each specific place in different parts of the World — elements of the landscape, fauna, or the bustling life of a metropolis, its inhabitants, architecture and industrial component.
